La búsqueda de la vacuna que pueda ponerle fin a la pandemia a causa de COVID-19 no para, hay múltiples investigaciones en marcha, tal es el caso de la vacuna experimental creada en la Universidad de Oxford en Inglaterra.
De acuerdo a los datos divulgados hoy, en la revista médica “The Lancet”, la versión experimental de esta vacuna parece ser “segura” y “entrena” el sistema inmunológico.
En los ensayos clínicos al respecto, fueron 1077 voluntarios los que produjeron anticuerpos y células blancas de la sangre que pudieran combatir el virus.
Si bien, los resultados hasta el momento son considerados “prometedores”, aún se deben hacer ensayos a mayor escala.
